Amy Hovis is a nationally recognized designer, speaker, and entrepreneur whose multidisciplinary career spans landscape architecture, film, creative direction, and business leadership. She is the Principal of Eden, an award-winning design + build firm known for its immersive, ecologically driven landscapes, and the Owner/Designer of Barton Springs Nursery, a design-forward garden center and native plant hub in Austin, Texas.

For over a decade, Amy has led complex, large-scale design and construction projects from vision to execution—coordinating talent, crews, budgets, and creative strategy with both precision and artistry. Her background in film and design informs a uniquely cinematic approach to space-making, one that values narrative, rhythm, and sensory engagement.

Amy’s practice is rooted in the belief that design can elevate the everyday—that beautiful, grounded spaces have the power to transform how we live, connect, and care for the world around us.
